I conceptualised BUSKERS more than 10 years ago. I envisioned it being a comic as well as a movie (but both existing separately if that makes any sense). I had sketched out the outline for a comic before I even begun writing the script and based my actual script from that.
I was a comic geek since I’ve been able to read so it was an absolute necessity for me to have a graphic novel of BUSKERS whether I was making a film or not.
I liaised with Mike Lake (the founder of Forbidden Planet comic stores), who then introduced me to the the cult pen-man Sean Michael Wilson, who in turn brought on the IMAF Award winning Manga artist Michiru Morikawa. Thus began the creation of BUSKERS: The MANGA graphic novel.
Sean and Michiru are working tirelessly to bring the book to life and I’m happy to say the first section is already in. I CANNOT WAIT for this to be finished.

THE BULLITTS
What a workload. Recording The Bullitts debut album and doing the score for BUSKERS, is a mammoth undertaking. It’s going to be an interesting 2009.
The 7” vinyl single (THE BULLITTS THEME) came out in Rough Trade Records (Portobello Road, London).
The Bullitts vinyl is now available online. The forthcoming album “They Die By Dawn & Other Short Stories” is going to be straight up crack cocaine… in sound.
